Week 16 – Kansas City Chiefs Fantasy Forecast

Kansas City Chiefs (8-6) at Pittsburgh Steelers (9-5)   Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em Jamaal Charles–  Charles went out of the game last week with a knee/ankle injury and did not return partially due to them winning and the Chiefs not wanting to risk it. He was limited in practice Wednesday so keep you eye on him as he is listed as questionable. If I had to guess I would guess he will play.   Travis Kelce–  Well I said he was as close as it gets for a must start last week so he is going to officially get the green light go this week. I hope I didn’t just jinx him. He was the 7th highest scoring TE last week with 59 yards off 5 catches and a touchdown. He is Alex Smith’s target in the end zone and the Steelers haven’t been impressive against tight ends. Should be a good match up.       Gut Calls Knile Davis–  Davis has a great game last week but that is because Charles was out after an injury. Davis will have no real fantasy value to you if Charles does play, but if Charles is held out, than he is a great handcuff.   Alex Smith–  Okay Jay Cutler owners out there… with Cutler getting the bench, you might be looking for another QB and Alex Smith might just be the best answer for you. He has a great match up this week with the Steelers giving up the 6th most points to opposing QBs and he was the 4th highest scoring QB last week. He also...

Week 15 – Atlanta Falcons Fantasy Forecast

Atlanta Falcons (5-7) vs Pittsburgh Steelers (8-5)   Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em Matt Ryan– #5 Ranked QB Ryan has been as boring as vanilla ice cream till last week when the Falcons put up more of a game than anyone anticipated. They actually looked good and had some big plays, which is very encouraging for any Falcons player owner. Ryan, believe it or not, despite the vanilla flavoring, is the 8th highest scoring QB on the season…so you have to play him. The Steelers’ defense gives up the 8th most points to QBs so you can feel okay about it. Who knows…maybe he’’ll throw down some cookies and cream flavoring on you this week!   Steven Jackson– #26 Ranked RB Jackson has actually been pretty consistent since week 8 and is a top 20 back this year…which means you need to play him. The whole offense is looking better which means he will have more chances in the red zone. He has scored 4 touchdowns in the last 6 weeks so the odds are in your favor.   Julio Jones– #10 Ranked WR The Jonester is back! Goodness me he had an amazing game last week against the Packers! He was the top scoring receiver with 259 yards off 11 catches and 1 TD. He could not be stopped! Sadly he is out this week due to injury but hope you make it through this playoff game so that you can use him in your finals.   Roddy White– #22 Ranked WR White paled in comparison to Julio Jones, but he still had a good game last week. Julio...

Week 15 – Pittsburgh Steelers Fantasy Forecast

Pittsburgh Steelers (8-5) at Atlanta Falcons (5-7)   Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em Notable: Shaun Suisham- #12 Ranked K   Le’Veon Bell– #1 Ranked RB Like every week you are playing this guy, no questions asked.   Antonio Brown– #1 Ranked WR Yep, you’re playing this guy too. Done deal.   Ben Roethlisberger– #10 Ranked QB You saw what Aaron Rodgers did with the Falcons last week, well Big Ben is capable of the same kind of magic and actually out scored Aaron Rogers last week. Big Ben is a must play especially since the Falcons are generous with points to QBs.   Martavis Bryant– #38 Ranked WR You are a frustrating man, Mr. Bryant! Right when we thought, eh…I don’t know about this guy, you come out and BOOM! 109 yards off 4 catches and a TD. He is a big play kind of guy and that Falcons give up big plays. Could be another solid week for him. Stick to your more tried and true players before you play him, but if you are hurting a bit at receivers he’s a good play.     Gut Calls Heath Miller– #13 Ranked TE It is not the best match up for him this week but in a slim position it makes sense to go with who is currently doing well and Heath Miller certainly is. In the last 3 weeks he has scored an average of 7.7 points. Not many other tight ends can boast such numbers.     Bench Warmers...
