Who didn’t get picked 2013 Draft

Great night watching the 2013 Draft. My picks were a bit off but the biggest surprise was who didn’t get picked. No Geno Smith? Crazy! EJ Manuel went first for QBs. He did seem very confident on ESPN. No Te’o? I thought the Broncos were going to take him but they took Williams. No relation. RB? Not in the first round. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow will bring. Congrats Eric Fisher!

2013 Draft

While Coach Kelly may be conflicted with his pick, Coach Schwartz from Detroit Lions won’t have the same problem. This one is a no brainer…
With the fifth overall pick the Lions will take OT from Oklahoma.
Say thank you Matthew Stafford!

Defense wins championships and the Cleveland Browns know just that. With Cornerback Joe Haden and a first round defensive Draft pick, they could have an awesome defense. Owner Jimmy Haslam’s business was raided on April 15th by the FBI investigating charges of conspiracy and mail and wire fraud. This is not a good start for a year of change. Hopefully the new faces in the office can keep their composure and make some good decisions on Thursday.
My pick for the Browns is CB from Alabama.

2013 Draft

The Draft is only two days away. With the third pick I am guessing the Oakland Raiders will pick OT from Central Michigan. Anybody who watched the Raiders last year saw Darren McFadden get torn up and Carson Palmer get nearly murdered. This pick could up Darren McFadden’s potential next season.

Will the Philadelphia Eagles new head coach follow his head or his heart with the fourth pick of the NFL Draft. That’s the question of this pick. The smart pick is OT from Oklahoma, however fond memories of Dion Jordan will keep DT from Utah in the back of Coach Kelly mind. My guess he will go with DT from Utah.

2013 Draft

Who will get Geno Smith. The QB out of West Virginia will probably be the first QB to be drafted. The Cleveland Browns plan on switching down even though they hope to get Smith. He might not be available after the Jets pick. The Jets have so many holes in their roster. My favorite part of the draft is the awkward hugs and handshakes between Roger Goodell and the drafted player.

Tebow Time.2

No, I am not talking about the tall, dreamy, drink of water that is Tim Tebow, but this year’s 2013 draft version of Tim Tebow…Mr. Collin Klein. So how similar are they?…well they were both up for a Heisman Trophy, they both had very successful college careers and both of them have been criticized for their “terrible throwing motion” and hailed as great running quarterbacks. More over, much like Tim Tebow, NFL teams have expressed a desire to move him to another position and Klein is wanting no part of that. Sound like someone you know and love, or love to hate?

Is there enough room in the league for 2 tightends quarterbacks who have funky throwing motions? Perhaps though, he will turn out to be much like the surprise of year, Collin Kaepernick?

Will any NFL team be willing to make the gamble and draft the kid?

I guess we will just have to tune into the draft to find out…

2013 Draft

The second pick of the 2013 Draft is Jacksonville Jaguars. My guess is their pick will be DE out of Oregon. The rumor is they may go for a QB. New coach Gus Bradley might not be too happy choosing between Gabbert and Henne, can’t blame him. Try to stay away from the whole team in your draft. I wouldn’t even be excited about Maurice Jones-Drew with his injury last season. I predict another rough season for the Jags.
