Tennessee Titans – Fantasy Forecast – Week 10
Jacksonville Jaguars 0-8 at Tennessee Titans 4-4
Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em
Chris Johnson
#8 Ranked RB
Last week Chris Johnson scored a season best 29 fantasy points. He rushed for 150 yards, 2 TDs, and caught three passes for 20 yards. Three out of the past 4 weeks Johnson scored his owners over 14 fantasy points. That’s fabulous! Are we skeptical? Yes. Very. But you have to play a guy getting that kind of production. And Jacksonville is terrible. Sad, but true. Feel great about playing Johnson and here’s a long-term goal: Get into the playoffs and Chris Johnson plays Jacksonville in Week 16. That’s a championship waiting to happen.
Gut Calls
Jake Locker
#11 Ranked QB
Locker was just okay last week with 185 passing yards, 2 INTs, 10 rushing yards and a lovely rushing TD. Without his 5 yard rushing TD, he’d be a fantasy nightmare. This week he goes up against the Jaguars. He’s a bit of a chance, but he might be a chance worth taking.
Shonn Greene
#22 Ranked RB
Well, Coach Muchak wasn’t lying. Shonn Greene got some work. And frankly, it helped Johnson rather than hurt him. More importantly, they won the game utilizing Greene, so we don’t see this changing anytime soon. Last week he rushed for 38 yards, 1 TD and caught one ball for an impressive 28 yards. He might be in the Flex conversation and he’s a good pickup, especially in deep leagues.
Kandall Wright
#27 Ranked WR
He’s the #1 WR on the team and when Locker carves up the Jaguars, he’ll need someone to catch the ball. That someone seems to be Kendall Wright. Last week, the team couldn’t get the passing game going, at all. But against the Jaguars, that should change.
Bench Warmers
Delanie Walker
#14 Ranked TE
Last week he caught 2 passes for 13 yards. He’s not really a big part of the Titans’ offense.
