Oakland Raiders – Fantasy Forecast – Week 10

Oakland Raiders 3-5 at New York Giants 2-6

Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em

No one is a must start, but if McFadden is out then Jennings is a good play.

Gut Calls

Rashad Jennings and Darren McFadden

#18 Ranked RB

McFadden went out in the 2nd quarter with a hamstring injury. He had the same injury in Week 4 against the Redskins. We expect him to sit out this week, but he’s still listed as Questionable.  That is why Jennings sits in the Gut Calls. Jennings had 102 yards and a TD last week against the Eagles, who ended up destroying the Raiders. The Giants give up the 11th fewest fantasy points to RBs but Jennings is fresh and ready help beat an equally bad team.

Denarius Moore and Rod Streater

#28 Ranked WR and #54 Ranked WR

Hope you listened to us about Streater last week. Although neither of the WRs had a TD last week, they both had over 80 yards receiving. With a questionable QB situation, we don’t have full confidence in either guy. We do expect the Giants defense to focus on Moore, leaving Streater open for another ok game.

Bench Warmers

Terrelle Pryor

#20 Ranked QB

Pryor is day-to-day status right now and we don’t love him this week. If his knee is sore then he won’t run, thereby negating the upside of Pryor. He gave you less than 17 fantasy points in the last two weeks so unless you have RG3 we would find a better option.

This week, we made some gut calls on Denarius Moore, Rod Streater, Terrelle Pryor, Rashad Jennings, and Marcel Reece.

Gut Calls

Denarius Moore
#36 Ranked WR
Moore is only owned in 64 percent of leagues and we think he’s a good pick-up. Not only is he the clear No. 1 WR, but after his game against Kansas City, he plays Pittsburgh. Pick him up. Moore had 84 yards and a TD last week. We think he will get similar yards this week but the Chiefs may not let him get in the endzone. We would feel okay about putting him in as your WR3.

Fantasy Foreplay: Raiders-Chargers previewSAN DIEGO CHARGERS Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em Philip Rivers #7 ranked QB The man has scored the third most points of anyone. ANYONE. It is nuts and I can barely believe it as we type this, but it is true. Whether you hate him or not, you have to start him.
