This week, we made some gut calls on Andrew Luck, Reggie Wayne, Trent Richardson, and T.Y. Hilton.

Gut Calls

T.Y Hilton
#26 Ranked WR
I need to start off by saying, T.Y., I hate you. You had the second most fantasy points from a wide receiver last week, and it was over double your total points for the season. Naturally you blow up the week I drop you from my team. We are fighting and you should be fighting with him, too. Do you start him??? Maybe, he is going up against the Chargers who have allowed the 3rd most fantasy points to receivers. Ugh!!!

Cleveland Browns

From Cleveland to Indy

The blockbuster trade last week of Trent Richardson from the Cleveland Browns to the Indianapolis Colts was all anyone could talk about. To trade away a first round pick, and third pick overall in the draft, one season after acquiring him is unheard of.

The Colts need to find a running game, that is obvious…so Trent makes sense. The Browns are trying to rebuild a stagnant organization and needed a chip to trade to get more opportunities to do that next year, so Trent was the only option. Clearly they have given up hope for this year……

So what does Richardson’s trade really mean?

Does this actually mean that Weeden should kiss his job goodbye? Do the Browns really see so much greatness in the 2014 draft class that they were willing to trade away one of their best players? Do the Colts really see so much potential in Richardson that they were willing to give up a coveted pick???

Only time will tell if this was a win win for both organizations or a lose lose. Right now in fantasy we are confused confused.

Rare in-season trade of Trent Richardson puts Cleveland, Indianapolis fan bases on notice – The Boston GlobeOn the surface, the motivation for Wednesday’s seismic trade between Indianapolis and Cleveland is obvious. The Colts needed a running back after losing Vick Ballard to injury. The Browns are looking to rebuild and find a franchise quarterback next offseason, and Trent Richardson was one of the few valuable pieces on the roster.

Her Fantasy Football and FPAA Weekly

Week 3: Boy vs Girl: Her Fantasy Football and FPAA Weekly

FPAA LogoWeek 2 brought Arian Foster and Calvin Johnson back to life, but that Stevan Ridley couldn’t get coach to play him.  Way to go, fpaaweekly, you called those.

But Brandon did call the return of Jimmy Graham.  Everyone wins a little bit.

And now we’re back with Week 3.  Chris Adkins and  our Co-Host, Brandon Lee, answered the HUGE question of the week.  Justin Brant is recovering from a flag football injury, so he sat this one out.  I think this is the adult version of “my dog ate my homework, but we’ll let it slide.

Make sure to check out our friends at FPAAWEEKLY.COM

What are we going to do in the fantasy world with the Trent Richardson trade to Indianapolis and the addition of Willis McGahee to the Browns?
I just picked up McGahee. I’m not starting him, but I needed backups.  Trent Richardson’s value just went way up. Indy wanted a big time runner, and that’s what they got. I am slightly downgrading Jordan Cameron and Josh Gordon. I think they will have some troubles with what’s his name? Oh, yeah, Hoyer… Seriously, on a side note, I would be extremely disappointed if I were a Browns fan (which yes, I know, disappointment is part of being a Browns fan). They gave up on the season after game 2. That is crazy. It’s even more crazy because, for once, their division sucks. Pittsburgh is a nightmare, Baltimore is rebuilding, and on Monday nigh Dalton couldn’t hit the side of a barn. With some game planning and their defense, they had a chance. Oh well, that’s really life. In fantasy, love your Richardson a little bit more, pick up McGahee for last year’s sake, and buy your Browns fan friend a drink. Make it stiff.
First off what does Cleveland know about Trent Richardson that the Colts and us fans don’t? If Trent Richardson plays, which is a big if, his time will be limited. Simply due to the fact that he doesn’t know the offense. It would not surprise me If the colts trot him out in goal line situations, all running backs know how to run inside the tackles at the goal line. All this being stated I believe that it would be prudent for Trent Richardson owners to temper their expectations for the next few weeks and possibly consider putting him on the bench this weekend.

Her Fantasy Football Podcast 9.19.13- More Problems More Problems in Cleveland

Tom Brady….where are you buddy? Michael Vick, Matt Shcaub, Philip Rivers, Sam Bradford…are all scoring more points than Tom Brady. I mean Eli and his 7 interceptions is a higher ranked QB than New England’s darling. We discuss this craziness along with the shocking Browns trade of the week. Tune in!

Will Richardson Be Ready?

Cleveland BrownsTrent Richardson was a huge part of the Browns offense last tier so it is concerning that he hasn’t participated in OTAs and is not expected to be available for mandatory minicamp. Perhaps we shouldn’t be too worried as he missed the entire preseason last year while recovering from knee surgery and played most of 2012 despite having two broken ribs. Richardson is a tough cookie and is expected to be ready for training camp but we will keep our eye on him.
