St Louis Rams RB Isaiah Pead Suspended for One Game
The NFL refrains from saying much about player suspensions. The St Louis Rams have remained mum and Pead’s agent, Rick Smith, has refused every opportunity to comment.
What we do know: St Louis Rams running back, Isaiah Pead, is suspended for one game.
The Rams claim to have known about this pending suspension for a while, but it does seem to come at a bad time. Since Steven Jackson left St Louis to join the Atlanta Falcons there’s been a three-horse race for the blue ribbon. Pead will compete all preseason with both Daryl Richardson and rookie Zac Stacy. Fantasy owners should take note of this trio and how each are performing, but only for a backup for your backup. When there’s no clear starter, there is no clear fantasy option. It’s all guessing, so choose wisely.
No matter the amount of effort, someone other than Pead will start Week 1 at home against the Arizona Cardinals.
