Chicago Bears 5-10 at Minnesota Vikings 6-9 All I want this Holiday Season is: For the Vikings to destroy the Bears. I know that means nothing in fantasy but I have really enjoyed covering the Vikings after realizing my hopes for Cordarrelle Patterson have drifted away. I want Matt Asiata to be on almost every winning team. He is only owned in fewer than 50% of leagues in both ESPN and Yahoo leagues. Last week he had 58 yards, 2 touchdowns and a 2-pt conversion. If you have someone that may not play in Week 17, Asiata is your man. Chicago gives up the 12 most fantasy points. I also want Teddy Bridgewater to be the number one Quarterback in Week 17. Chicago gives up the 2nd most fantasy points to Quarterbacks and Bridgewater is really getting into his groove. Jarius Wright is fighting for a contract and Greg Jennings is fighting to get his youth back. Love both of them this week as well....

Every week we go match up by match up and tell you who your must starts, gut calls and bench players are for the game. This week we spiced it up a bit and talked about our Holiday wishes. We can’t cover every player but we should be able to answer those burning questions as to whether or not this is a good match up for one of your questionable players. Let the fun...
by Ashley Williams | Dec 21, 2014 | Miami Dolphins, Minnesota Vikings
Miami Dolphins (7-7) vs Minnesota Vikings (6-8) Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em None Gut Calls Ryan Tannehill– Tannehill is the 10th highest scoring QB in the league thus far this year so you would think that you should play him. Well…I am not so sure. He has cooled off a bit the last 3 games with an average of 12 points. 12 points is not likely going to help you win your championship…so if you have another option, use it. It is not a great match up for him this week as the Vikings give up the 10th fewest points to opposing QBs. Lamar Miller– Uh huh…Lamar Miller of old has been popping up recently. He has only scored double digit points once since week 10. He has only been averaging 6.6 points during that time frame. That might be enough for you but he should only be thought of for a Flex role in a deep league. Mike Wallace– The Vikings have a better secondary than you might think and Mike Wallace is only worth something to you in your lineup if he gets a touchdown. Last week was the first time he has had over 100 yards in a game. Don’t look at last week to make your decision, look at the rest of the season. This is not a great match up. Jarvis Landry– This guys doesn’t pull in big points on a regular basis but if you are in a PPR league, he is worth a look. He has been averaging 7 catches the past 4 games and that...

Minnesota Vikings 6-8 at Miami Dolphins 7-7 Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em Charles Johnson – #28 Ranked Wide Receiver Fantasy Football is coming to an end this year and it is time to get real with our rosters. Johnson should be picked up in every league. He is coming on at the right time and his Quarterback loves him. Johnson had 7 fantasy points last week with 7 targets. That might not seem like a lot but there is nothing but upside with Johnson. He is the main guy in Minnesota and is a great WR3/FLEX Matt Asiata – #25 Ranked Running Back The best part of Asiata is that he catches the ball. In PPR he added an addition 7 points on last week where he had a total of 87 yards and a touchdown. If your Running Back is injuried, Asiata could be a nice streamer this week. Gut Calls Kyle Rudolph – #14 Ranked Tight Ends Rudolph had a season high in receptions with 7 balls and 69 yards. He is still dealing with his sports hernia and is not 100% yet. This will be another tough game for him. Miami gives up the 5th fewest fantasy points to Tight Ends. Minnesota Vikings – #13 Ranked Defense Greg Jennings – #46 Ranked Wide Receivers Jennings has found the end zone three times in the last four weeks. The week he didn’t he was still targeted 7 times. Bridgewater is getting better for the Vikings and the receivers are getting better for fantasy. Jennings is listed as Questionable while dealing...

We partnered with RotoBaller to give you accurate and timely Week 16 waiver wire adds, wide receivers and more. In turn, they post our podcast to their site (which is centered around setting your weekly lineups). Enjoy! This article originally appeared on RotoBaller, our new partner. Can you believe we’re on week 16 already? Time flies! With two weeks left in the NFL season there’s three reasons I can think of how this article can help you win your fantasy football league. 1. You’re still in the championship hunt 2. You’re trying to block a competitor from picking up one of these players 3. You’re looking for ‘cheap’ keeper/dynasty steals for next season This week I (Matt Hartman) will look at the best week 16 wide receiver waiver wire pickups and sleepers, based on their current ownership numbers and fantasy outlook for the season. I will also provide a bonus section in this article recommending a player not to target on waivers. Fantasy Football Wide Receivers (WR) – Week 16 Organized by priority Jarvis Landry (MIA) – Owned in 37% of Fleaflicker leagues Over the last 4 weeks Landry has been targeted 44 times with a 77% catch rate which has made him a PPR gold mine. During that time Landry has become Ryan Tannehill‘s favorite receiving target. If you are in a keeper or dynasty league Landry is a must add if you haven’t already got him. If you are in a PPR league and Landry is somehow available pick him immediately. In standard leagues Landry is a WR3/4 fringe player. Baller Move: Add in all PPR leagues, Add in 14+...
